LM grass, also known as Durban grass, coat grass and sweet smother grass, is indigenous to South Africa, found predominantly on the KZN coast and Mozambique. It forms a dense, dark green lawn under ideal growing conditions. LM grass performs well in full sun, as well as in shady and semi-shade conditions. This grass has a creeping growth habit but it’s not as invasive as Kikuyu.

Kikuyu grass is extremely easy to take care of. It grows and spreads quickly and is the perfect turf plant to replace a lawn or cover up bare patches.
This type of grass is the ideal solution for dry spells, areas of high foot traffic and water restrictions. In areas where the climate is hot in summer and mild in winter, this is the ground cover you want in your garden.

Evergreen Gold is one of the most beautiful lawn mixtures and grows well in full sun and semi-shade conditions. It thrives in a variety of growing conditions and will remain green throughout the year.
A lawn of Evergreen Gold can tolerate high traffic and is great for areas frequently used by children and pets. However, dog urine can sometimes cause the blades to scorch, especially in very hot weather, resulting in dead, brown patches.

Gulf Green is a grass variant that doesn’t produce seed, making it perfect to plant around homes where the inhabitants are sensitive to pollen allergies. It’s sometimes called Golf Green because it looks like a putting green. Gulf Green lawns are very soft and handle high traffic well. It grows very fast in the summer and you’ll need to mow it once a week. In winter growth is slower and the colour only dulls a bit.
